Pregnancy

Craniosacral Therapy can help with the many body changes of pregnancy. When pregnant, a woman’s body goes through remarkable changes as the baby grows and as she prepares for the birth process.  A woman may experience discomfort, depending on many factors, including general health, past injuries and incidents during pregnancy. Craniosacral Therapy can help a woman’s body to release restrictions and develop more ease as she prepares for birth.

After birth

Craniosacral Therapy can help the body return to its pre-birth condition and help the pelvis and spine re-adapt to the change in weight distribution. Craniosacral Therapy works with the body’s own self-healing processes to facilitate this. Where there have been medical interventions like an epidural, use of forceps or a caesarian section, Craniosacral Therapy can also assist with the recovery process.
